Blue Silence, Made for This Space
Commissioned by Mr. Dan, I created a painting for his living room. The living room is very large, with one wall over 6 meters wide. The painting needed to be over 3 meters long, ultimately settling on 3.2m x 1.2m – such a large canvas was necessary to match the space. Lotus Pond: A Quiet Place to Pause
This is a lotus pond I finished a few summers ago. Most of the time, I would use color to express such scenery, but this time what touched me more was not the color, but the shape of the dense lotus leaves in the pond. They are large and small, overlapping each other, depending on each other, vying to grow upwards and compete for the sunlight. After I finished the painting, it really touched a friend, and she bought it to hang in her home.

Red Leaf Valley: Painted for a Collector
My painting, "Red Leaf Valley," was selected for the 2025 Salt Springs National Art Prize (SSNAP), Canada's largest biennial contemporary art competition and exhibition. Nearly two thousand artists submitted their works, and 53 were ultimately selected. The painting was acquired by a collector in British Columbia on the first day of the exhibition.
