Welcome to our “Classical Academic Sketch" course, designed specifically for teenagers aged 10-18! In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of academic drawing techniques, focusing on precision, proportion, and the mastery of light and shadow. This course offers a solid foundation for young artists, preparing them for more advanced art studies or personal creative development. Through classical training, students will develop the skills to accurately observe and depict objects and figures, essential for any aspiring artist.
What you will learn

Basic Drawing Techniques: Starting with simple geometric shapes and progressing to more complex objects, still life, and figure drawing, students will master essential skills such as composition, proportion, and perspective.

Light and Shadow: Learn how to create depth and volume by mastering light and shadow techniques, including highlights, cast shadows, and reflected light to bring realism to drawings.

Structure and Anatomy Fundamentals: Especially for figure and still-life drawing, students will be introduced to basic anatomy and structure to understand how internal forms influence external shapes.

Line and Texture: Develop control over line weight and variation to depict textures, materials, and intricate details, enhancing the expressiveness of the drawing.

Observation and Analytical Skills: Students will sharpen their ability to observe and analyze real-life objects, learning how to translate what they see into accurate and artistic representations on paper, while also developing patience and concentration.
