Service Description

This is a painting method that combines multiple media and techniques to encourage students to explore new ways of expression and personal style. This method breaks through the limitations of traditional sketching with a single tool (such as pencil, charcoal, etc.), allowing students to use a variety of materials and techniques (such as ink, paint, digital tools, etc.) to create. Explore the expressiveness of the material itself to create visually impactful and creative works. What you will learn: Cultivate innovative thinking: By using non-traditional tools and materials, students are encouraged to think and experiment, break the rules, and look at and express objects from different angles. Experimental sketching emphasizes process rather than results, and encourages students to discover unexpected beauty in the creative process. Enhance material sensitivity: Let students become familiar with and master the characteristics of various materials, such as the wetness, texture, transparency, etc. of different media, and the interaction between them. This can help students choose and apply materials more freely in future creations. Develop personal style and visual language: Through the exploration of multiple media, students have the opportunity to find the best way to express their ideas and feelings. Mixed media sketching provides rich possibilities for personalized expression. Improve the ability to express complex concepts: Experimental and mixed media sketches are often used to express abstract or complex concepts. Students can use this method to develop a richer and more multi-layered visual language to adapt to the diverse needs of modern art and design. Cultivate adaptability and problem-solving skills: During the experiment, students may encounter unexpected challenges or effects, which requires them to constantly adjust and improve their creative strategies. This adaptability is an important quality in artistic creation. Class time: 20 weeks in total, once a week, two hours each time The materials that students need to prepare are as follows: 1. Basic drawing tools • Pencils: Pencils of different hardness (such as 2H to 8B) are used for sketching and line exercises. • Charcoal pencils and charcoal sticks: Used to create dark tones and strong contrasts, often used for quick painting and large-area smearing. • Erasers: Including regular erasers, plastic erasers and charcoal erasers, suitable for detail adjustment and highlight processing. 2. Ink and drawing pens • Ink: Black and colored inks, used for line drawing and washing effects • Fountain pens and dip pens: control the flow of ink, suitable for fine lines and detailed work. • Markers: markers in various colors, suitable for quick coloring and thick line painting. 3.
